New robust switch system solution Hermod has been introduced by Concurrent Technologies. The introduction of the solution broadens the company’s expanding array of systems-oriented solutions. A robust COTS Gigabit Ethernet switch that has been SWaP-C optimised is the new solution. It has 15 non-blocking 10/100/1000Mbps ports and is designed for embedded computer network applications in demanding environments.

Its integrated system, Helios, was released prior to the debut of this most recent systems-oriented offering. Continued development of our market-leading system-based solutions in line with customer demand is a key focus of Concurrent Technologies, and the launch of Hermod represents another step in our ongoing commitment to deliver deployment ready, ruggedized systems, said Nigel Jowitt, director of Engineering at Concurrent Technologies.
