Texas Instruments TPSI3050/TPSI3050-Q1 Reinforced Isolated Switch Drivers are fully integrated and create a totally isolated SSR when coupled with an external power switch. They are now offered by Mouser. With a nominal gate drive voltage of 10V and peak source and sink currents of 1.5A and 3A, a wide range of external power switches may be chosen to meet a variety of application requirements. There is no need for an independent secondary supply bias since the reinforced switch drivers produce a secondary bias supply from the power received from their main side. For certain application requirements, the TPSI3050-Q1 can furthermore optionally provide power to external supporting circuitry.

The component comes in a 7.5mm x 5.85mm SOIC 8-pin (DWZ) box. SSR, battery management systems, onboard chargers, hybrid, electric, and powertrain systems, building automation, and factory automation and control are examples of typical application areas.
