High-voltage differential probes cover most requested voltage ranges

The 30MHz High-Voltage Differential Probes from the CT4447 Series from Cal Test Electronics are now available. The most popular voltage ranges are covered by two distinct attenuation settings. These probes meet the reliability and safety standards anticipated of the company’s test equipment thanks to their 1000V CAT III rating and certification by cTUVus to IEC 61010-031: 2015. There is a two-year warranty on the probes.

Users of oscilloscopes frequently need to compare two voltages that are not both at earth ground. To enable earth-grounded oscilloscopes to perform safe, precise floating measurements between these two sites, differential probes were developed. These floating signals are transformed by the series probes into low-voltage ground-referenced signals that may be securely shown on any ground-referenced oscilloscope. The probes are compatible with oscilloscopes (with 1MOhm input) from all major manufacturers and may be powered by batteries, a universal mains converter, or, if the oscilloscope is USB-equipped, by the oscilloscope itself. Precision power semiconductors, switchable power supply design, floating measurements, power converter measurements, and precision motor drive measurements are just a few of the applications that the series excels in.
