A 1500W version of the PJMA series from COSEL Co., Ltd. has been added to the company’s growing medical power lineup. The new gadgets abide with global safety regulations and have an input voltage range of 85 VAC to 264 VAC. The series, which was created for difficult medical applications, is perfect for BF applications and satisfies with safety regulations for 2MOPP (IN/OUT) and 1MOPP (OUT/FG). The units’ design, which is based on a reliable foundation, has been optimised to offer a great price-to-performance ratio for medical applications seeking a high-quality power supply. Four output voltages of 12, 24, 36, and 48VDC are available for the series. Standard options are 12V/125A, 24V/64A, 36V/42A, and 48V/32A for single output voltages. The built-in potentiometer may be used to change the output voltage.

The series includes circuitry to restrict inrush current, overcurrent and overvoltage safeguards, and thermal safeguards. The power supplies exhibit adaptability and durability as they may be used in environments with temperatures ranging from -20°C to +70°C. Depending on the final equipment assembly design and cooling circumstances, a derating may be applicable.

According to ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd Edition, the units have been authorised. The series conforms with the FCC-A, VCCI-A, CISPR32-A, EN55011-A, and EN55032-A emission test standards. Several alternatives are available to meet application-specific requirements, including low leakage current (G), external potentiometer connector (V), remote control (R), and low-speed fan (C) (F4). The series is built in an enclosed galvanised steel box with a fan positioned on the back side for durability and robustness. It has the following dimensions: 178mm x 61mm x 268mm (W x H x D) and a maximum weight of 3.5kg. The series is compliant with the European RoHS, REACH, and Low Voltage Directives and comes with a five-year guarantee.
