The new FTR-G3 is the smallest automotive relay in its class, capable of switching 30 A of current in a very small, plastic-sealed container of 6.6 mm x 13.7 mm x 14 mm. With the introduction of a 14 VDC PCB option, Fujitsu Components America broadens its selection of automotive relays and makes it better suitable for applications with constrained space. The FTR-G3 is the smallest automotive relay in the 30 A class currently on the market, with dimensions of 6.6 mm x 13.7 mm x 14 mm and a plastic-sealed container that can switch 30 A of current.

The relay is the ideal option for managing power windows, defoggers, seat heaters, lighting, and wipers due to its small size and 30 A fuse rate. It can also work in a wide variety of temperatures between -40°C and +125°C and has a high contact capacity (minimum 100,000 operations at 14 VDC 30 A). The rated power consumption at 20 degrees Celsius is around 640 mW. For maximum reliability, the RoHS-compliant relay has a 1 Form C or 1 Form A contact arrangement. One choice is through-hole soldering.
