Bourns, Inc. has introduced five new shielded power bead inductor series that have ferrite-based shielding, high-rated current, and extremely low DC resistance between 72nH and 440nH. It created the new Model SPB0705, SPB1005, SPB1007, SPB1012 and SPB1308 series to meet the demands of diverse multi-phase integration applications for enhanced efficiency, reduced magnetic field radiation, and lower power loss.

The five new inductor series offer outstanding conversion solutions for applications in VRMs, power processors, memory modules, high current ASICs, servers, storage, data centres, networking systems, and graphic cards thanks to their advanced features and wide range of SMD footprints (6.7mm x 6.5mm to 13.5mm x 13mm).

The inductor series’ five new types are all halogen- and RoHS-compliant.
